Repeaters offline for construction-related power outage
Power to the club’s shipping container has been temporarily disconnected while the City of Sultan is doing some construction on their new water facility. With no power, all three of the club’s repeaters are currently offline.
The city estimates that the outage will last no longer than two weeks, so power should be restored by September 1st in time for the club net on 9/2/25.
UPDATE 9/2/25: The power remains out, and is likely to remain out for many more weeks, possibly even a couple months longer.
UPDATE 11/18/25: The power remains out. David KB7GFL is in contact with the city’s water manager, and he will let David know when power has been restored.
Until power has been restored, we will be utilizing the 2m simplex frequency of 146.58 MHz for our nets.
