The second session will run from 9 to 6:30 pm on Saturday\, October 15th. There will be a VE test session on noon Sunday\, October 16th.\n\nIt is not required to attend the class to test on Sunday\, so we welcome anyone that would like to test for a Tech license or earn an upgrade. The class is free of charge\, but the fee to test is $15.

SUMMARY:Plain 100 Ultra Marathon 2022
DESCRIPTION:The official name of this race is The Plain100+ Mile Endurance Run (David M. Smith Memorial 1953-2011) in honor of Dave\, a Search and Rescue team (SAR) member who was with the race from the beginning until his death in 2011. The Plain 100 is a challenging 100+ mile ultra marathon (even by ultra standards) over trails in the mountains near Lake Wenatchee and Plain\, Washington. The course contains more than 21\,000 feet of elevation gain/loss with no support for the runners. The race details can be found at http://www.plain100.com/. Starting in 2014\, a Plain 100K race was added with the same checkpoints and route identical to the first loop of the 100 mile course. \nSnohomish County ACS teams up with hams from across Washington to provide radio support at checkpoints along the 100+ mile course for this extreme endurance marathon. \nContact Erik K7QOG for more information about this event.
